Hormones dear! LOL! Isn't that every woman's problem when she's agitated?

Anyway...why is Caly concerned about who's room that is and I must wonder what significance that may hold. She needs to get with the program I'm afraid—life has changed; 'am' don't work no more. It's all in the tense.

I couldn't agree more; however, she just woke up in a strange room with that fateful stained glass window in her eyes, and that room is filled with pictures of someone who looks very much like her. And even though she's gotten her heart's desire, she'd still like to know the who's and why's.

I think Myrddyn is of your mind as well. What's most important right now is breakfast - as it is in the Cameron abode. I need my teal.

Hmmm...
Having re-read my last comment, though I have a lovely teal shrug, I am not that enamored of the color. It's TEA that I need!

My head spins a bit. The entire panel seems an anachronism. Tea, and china, and teacups, and toast just seem out of place in the setting in time.

You say she's gotten her heart's desire, yet I don't believe she's verbally or perhaps even consciously acknowledged that fact yet. She may have, but I don't recall.

BTW, what's a teal 'shrug'? I didn't know a shrug had color, just movement and action. I have seen a teal rug though. ;)

Anyway, a shrug is a buttonless sweater, often with flaps that hang down in the front.

Oh yes! Then there's Marmite and Sunny-Side-Up Eggs and kippers. LOL,

Revised and proofread comment:

1. Myrddyn's dwelling is, indeed, rife with anachronisms.
2. I don't believe we reconcile ourselves very easily. Poor Cally got reassurance from the Lady of Brocéliande, but she didn't get her questions answered. That's why she came to Myrddyn. And, being the man of mystery that he is, he's not as forthcoming as she'd like. But life is like that, isn't it? We don't get what we think we want right away.
3. And here's an example of a teal shrug:

Thanks for the link. I didn't know that was called a shrug.

All things written by man (and woman) are anachronistic. We really can't write effectively in the present about the past from the reference point of the past. The creative author / artist takes license, as you do, to play the anachronism up or down as you may choose in order to make your point.

And I so agree with your point about reconciling. The process is certainly not easy.

I thought that you just fancied a teal for breakfast though those wild ducks are not to everyone's taste and a bit too oily for mine. I prefer my game birds to come from the land for a meatier taste.

now a nice oily kippers are a different matter, yum. Negative yum to marmite.

What is the point of being a wizard if you can't conjure up a decent anachronism when you fancy? If we burned every masterpiece of western historical painting which showed anachronisms those galleries would be very echoey...

Still think eating Marmite is going to be the hardest part of her journey so far.

Teal next week, now where is that shrug which I shrugged off earlier?

I loved the way how you described our beloved 'Marmite': The Spirit of Britain.

I'm waiting for Branston Pickle to show it's face... :)
