Since You Asked...

Was it Abby who asked for a picture of me as Kali? I have to admit that I've been holding this back. Those lines in the face, the double chin, that bloodshot third eye... Anyway, here it is...

Why, you look so natural, third eye and all! *smile* Actually, you do look good. I love your smile. Thanks for sharing this picture, and yourself, with all of us.

You're too kind. Thank you for being there.

Not sure if Abby did or not but I know I did ask for a photo. I love that necklace. Did you make it?

Yes, I did make the necklace. There's a store in Pasadena called Stats, which primarily sells floral decoration - not the flowers, but the fiddlybits to go around them. At Halloween and Christmas they are an absolute showcase. I knew I could get a necklace of skulls there, plus the skull at the top of my stick (there are two more hanging down behind). I bought three skull necklaces, and it turned out that Jayne had bought two more, so I cannibalized them all and made three of varying lengths. I also made earrings, though you can't see them. I had a wonderful time.

Ummm...I think I like the profile pic more ;)

You and me both, lady. Melody took the profile pic at a time when the sun was just right. I've held onto it with a death grip. I'm also having to learn to extend my neck and put my chin out when I smile. I'm also having to face the fact that at my best I'm looking like Margaret Dumont.

To me, you look like a woman of spirit and experience. None of us survive being transgender without a lot of both. I look at pictures of young sexy women and dream of what might have been and mourn its loss. In the end, though, I'm proud of who I am and willing to accept what has been my path to reach this place of peace and knowledge about myself. You've traveled that same path, Jill, and so have you Lori. It isn't easy, but it's well worth it, at least, IMO.

Abby, as usual, you know exactly what to say. I have to admit to a certain amount of vanity. But I'm glad of who I am and who I am becoming.
