A minute or so ago I uploaded Sunday's Doonesbury strip which makes a sapient comment upon blogging. While admiring it on my page, I had one or two sapient thoughts about copyright laws. Not wanting to get on the wrong side of either Mr. Trudeau or his syndicate, I'm posting a link instead: Doonesbury. It's not as attractive, but it's safer.
Now I think I'll go read a book.

What are these "books" of which you speak?
(that's a joke, of course. My partner and I have taken Erasmus to heart when he said, "When I have a little money, I buy books. If I have any left over, I buy food and clothing.")
Dang you're fast! Right now I'm dividing my time between THE KNIGHT ON THE BRIDGE by William Watson, a re-reading of THE GOLDEN BOUGH, and WHAT BECOMES YOU, a collection of essay by Aaron Raz Link (a really cool transguy of my recent acquaintence) and his mom Hilda Rax. That's not counting the trying to digest the PeachPit Press tutorial for Final Cut Pro 6 and the script for MATREYA.
How about you Hon?
I keep that quote on the bulletin board in my classroom.
